We make these improvements based on your feedback, from official support tickets and app store reviews to Reddit threads (hello /r/binanceus!) and comments on our social media channels. Before, if you disabled your account, you had to open a ticket and wait for someone on our team to check it by hand. Our new Self-Serve Account Reactivation tool, available for eligible users, lets you reactivate your account on your own, in just a few steps. The process is simple, secure, and doesn’t require contacting Support.
We wanted to make the process faster because we know that quick access to your account matters, especially when the market is moving. This update is the first step in a broader effort to continue improving our account recovery experience.
Account verification got simpler: fewer errors, clearer next steps
We heard from users that verification error messages weren’t always clear on what to do next, so we rewrote them to make onboarding more intuitive. As a result, basic onboarding verification failures dropped by 88%, and it is now easier for more people to create and use their Binance.US accounts.
While most people sign up and start trading in as little as 3 minutes, you can resolve most issues with simple troubleshooting steps, such as ensuring the name on your documentation (like your driver’s license or U.S. passport) matches the personal information you have on your account.
More reliable USD deposits: higher success rates
Your USD deposits are more reliable now, with higher overall success rates.
We noticed some USD deposits were getting blocked by balance checks that were stricter than they needed to be, leaving some of you with “insufficient balance” errors when attempting to deposit cash.
We reviewed our system logic and tightened up our balance check criteria to be more accurate without weakening the protections we have in place. As a result, “insufficient balance” failures dropped by 34% and you can expect a more seamless funding experience. It’s a quiet but impactful change that makes getting money into your account more reliable.

- Trading experience improvements. Since slashing spot trading fees to 0% maker, 0.02% taker, trading activity has continued to climb. Today, you’ll notice deeper liquidity across major pairs, which means you’ll get better pricing with less slippage when you trade on Binance.US, all with the lowest spot trading fees in America.
- Wire transfers are back. You asked for more ways to move USD, especially for larger transfers and cash-outs where bank transfer (ACH) doesn’t cut it. Domestic wire deposits and withdrawals are live again, with your personalized instructions in the Payment Methods section of your account. Learn how to deposit and withdraw via wire with more options on the way.
- Expanded staking options. You can now earn weekly or monthly rewards on 25+ cryptocurrencies, the widest selection of any major U.S. crypto platform. We’ll continue to expand our list of supported staking assets to make your Binance.US experience more rewarding.
- Automated market alerts (rolling out). You may have noticed new push notifications when an asset you hold or follow makes a significant move, so you don’t have to watch the charts to catch important developments.
