    Key Takeaways

    • Blackrock led $244.42M into Bitcoin ETFs on Wednesday, extending the inflow streak to three days.
    • Bitcoin and ether funds drew $305M+, reinforcing demand for the two largest crypto assets by market cap.
    • HYPE gained $966,690 as XRP lost $3.58M, leaving altcoin demand uneven into August.

Bitcoin ETFs Add $244M as Streak Hits 3 Days

Money continued to move into the largest crypto funds at a brisk pace. Bitcoin and ether ETFs collected more than $305 million in combined inflows, led once again by Blackrock, as institutional demand strengthened for a third consecutive session.

The wider market delivered a mixed picture. HYPE funds finally found buyers, XRP ETFs saw withdrawals, and Solana products remained quiet.

    Blackrock Leads Another Strong Session

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $244.42 million in net inflows across five funds. Blackrock’s IBIT accounted for most of the total with a $196.83 million addition. ARK 21Shares’ ARKB followed with $37.63 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $11.28 million.

Bitwise’s BITB added $10.56 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT received $2.79 million. Vaneck’s HODL was the only fund to lose capital, posting a $14.67 million outflow. The withdrawal had little effect on the category’s overall advance.

Total bitcoin ETF trading value reached $1.58 billion. Combined net assets closed at $79.21 billion.

Strong start to August for bitcoin ETFs with three days of inflows worth $626 million.

Ether ETFs also extended their positive run, bringing in $60.86 million across five products. Blackrock’s ETHA led with $50.34 million. The firm’s staking-focused ETHB added $4.94 million, while Fidelity’s FETH received $2.87 million.

Bitwise’s ETHW and 21Shares’ TETH attracted $1.37 million and $1.34 million, respectively. No ether ETF recorded an outflow. Trading value across the category totaled $550.67 million, with net assets ending the session at $10.61 billion.

HYPE Breaks Its Slide as XRP Loses Ground

HYPE ETFs returned to inflows after a lengthy stretch of redemptions. Bitwise’s BHYP attracted about $966,690, lifting combined net assets to $267.78 million. Trading value reached $11.63 million. The gain was small, though it offered the first sign that selling pressure may be easing after several difficult weeks.

XRP ETFs moved in the opposite direction. Bitwise’s XRP fund recorded a $3.58 million withdrawal, accounting for the category’s entire net outflow. XRP ETF trading value rose to $20.16 million. Net assets slipped below the $1 billion threshold and closed at $993.38 million.

Solana ETFs reported no net creations or redemptions. Combined assets ended the day at $878.51 million.

Wednesday’s figures kept the institutional spotlight firmly on bitcoin and ether. Blackrock remained the dominant source of demand, while activity among smaller-token funds continued to vary sharply from one session to the next.
