Aussie has partnered with LoanOptions.ai to expand the asset finance support available to its national broker network, giving brokers another way to help customers finance vehicles, equipment, business assets and other personal lending needs.

Through LoanOptions.ai, brokers can now refer customers to an end-to-end digital application supported by a panel of more than 90 lenders.

The platform uses information about each customer’s profile to identify suitable lending options, while a dedicated LoanOptions.ai specialist supports the customer and keeps the referring broker informed from application through to settlement.

The partnership is designed to help Aussie brokers capture more of the lending needs that arise before, during and after a property transaction.

Existing home loan customers may also require finance for cars, utes, 4WDs, vans and light trucks; tools, machinery and farming or construction equipment; business fit-outs, vehicles, technology and working capital; or renovations, debt consolidation and other major personal expenses.

Data from CFBA indicates that 70 per cent of customers are likely to purchase an asset within nine months of buying a home, highlighting the potential asset finance volume already sitting within established broker relationships.

Compared with home lending, asset finance can also have a shorter application and settlement cycle, creating a faster revenue opportunity and more reasons for brokers to remain connected with their customers.

Lendi Group Chief Product Officer Travis Tyler (pictured left) said the partnership would give Aussie brokers greater flexibility to support customers beyond the home loan.

“Broker businesses are built on trust and long-term relationships, and those relationships shouldn’t stop once the home loan settles,” Tyler said.

“Customers are already purchasing cars, utes, equipment, fit-outs and technology, or looking for finance for renovations and other major needs. The opportunity for brokers is to remain part of those conversations rather than seeing that business go elsewhere.

“LoanOptions.ai gives our network even more choice in asset finance and can create more value from relationships brokers have already worked hard to build. It gives them more reasons to stay in touch, support customers through different financial moments and build a more diversified revenue base.

“For customers, it means being able to start with a broker they already know and trust, while receiving specialist support throughout the asset finance process.”

The application is managed through LoanOptions.ai’s platform, with clear updates provided throughout the journey. Each referred customer is assigned one dedicated LoanOptions.ai contact, reducing hand-offs and giving both the customer and the referring broker greater visibility over progress.

The partnership supports Lendi Group’s broader AI-native strategy, using technology to reduce administrative friction while keeping brokers and specialist human support at the centre of the customer experience.

The partnership integrates LoanOptions.ai’s proprietary, ISO 27001-certified loan matching widget, AILO, directly into the Lendi Group platform. This integration allows Aussie and Lendi customers looking for personal, business, car, and equipment loans to apply in under five minutes through a seamless white-label experience.

LoanOptions.ai Founder and CEO Julian Fayad (pictured right) said the partnership would make it easier for Aussie brokers to extend their service into asset finance without needing to build specialist capability within their own businesses.

“Mortgage brokers are often the first people customers call when they are making a major financial decision, but asset finance has traditionally been difficult to service without the right technology, lender access and specialist support,” Fayad said.

“Our role is to make that referral simple and transparent. The technology helps identify suitable options across a broad lender panel, while a dedicated specialist manages the process and keeps both the customer and the referring broker updated.

“This approach allows brokers to diversify their businesses without compromising the experience their customers expect.

“We are proud to partner with Aussie and join its existing asset finance options. Together, we can help more brokers support the broader financial needs of their customers and retain those relationships over the long term.

“Aussie is the number one choice for mortgages in Australia, and our goal with this partnership is to make it the number one choice in asset finance as well.”

LoanOptions.ai is now available to Aussie brokers nationwide.
