As part of our commitment to protecting customer assets and data, we’re excited to announce that Binance.US has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type II audit. This independent, third-party audit is a globally recognized benchmark and speaks to the strength and rigor of our security and compliance programs.
Today’s announcement underscores Binance.US’ commitment to a security-first approach. We have achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance, building on our previous SOC 2 Type I examination, and successfully recertified our ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 accreditations for 2026.
Setting the standard for security
While blockchain technology provides transparency on-chain, users deserve equal transparency regarding the systems that manage their assets off-chain. To provide this assurance, we voluntarily submit our controls to rigorous examinations against multiple global standards. Our SOC 2 Type II report and ISO recertifications serve as independent validations of our security effectiveness, confirming that our platform meets benchmarks for safety and privacy.

While we previously completed a SOC 2 Type I examination, which offers the assurance of a single, “point-in-time” check, the newly completed SOC 2 Type II audit examines our operational effectiveness over an extended period of time. Together with our ISO recertifications, these milestones provide confidence that Binance.US maintains robust safeguards to protect their assets and data.
