GBST has ranked in the Global WealthTech 100 list of the world’s most innovative companies for the seventh consecutive year, selected by industry experts from more than 1,300 companies.
The global technology provider was recognised for its specialist wealth management expertise and ongoing investment in innovation.
Over the last 12 months, GBST has added new clients and extended existing contracts across all business areas. At the same time, it has continued to develop its solutions to meet the evolving needs of providers and advisers amid rising client expectations, increasing regulatory demands and the accelerating impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This includes building tightly controlled agentic AI capability into its flagship Composer Software as a Service (SaaS) administration platform. The agentic AI is designed to operate within defined limits, enabling GBST’s clients to automate complex, high-volume wealth administration processes in line with regulatory requirements. These processes often require significant manual intervention, as they vary from firm to firm, and the lack of standardisation makes them difficult to automate using a traditional rules-based approach.
Robert DeDominicis, Global CEO of GBST, commented, “We are delighted to be recognised again as a leader in global wealth technology. GBST has been at the forefront of financial technology for forty years and our latest developments demonstrate our ability to balance innovation with the control and auditability required in a highly regulated environment. Our Composer SaaS platform administers hundreds of billions of dollars in assets globally for major financial services brands. As we enhance our solutions and improve experiences, we also recognise our responsibility to safeguard the finances of over 5.5 million investors.
“We see clear value in AI’s ability to improve efficiency and automate manual tasks within wealth management. Our approach is focused on delivering real operational impact by supporting our clients to achieve more reliable, scalable execution of complex processes.”
The WealthTech 100 is compiled by specialist research firm FinTech Global and a team of industry experts. It recognises companies addressing industry challenges through innovative technology solutions and highlights providers driving meaningful change in the sector.
