FuseSign is celebrating its sixth anniversary this month, marking six years since the platform was created to solve a familiar problem for accounting firms: getting client documents signed without unnecessary admin, delays and manual follow-up.
The idea behind FuseSign came from real accounting practice experience. Melissa Voss and Scott Barber had seen the challenge firsthand while working inside an accounting firm in Brisbane, where preparing, sending and managing client documents involved too much manual handling.
For accounting teams dealing with financial statements, tax returns, compliance documents and family group structures, signing was not just a final step. It was part of everyday client work, and when it became slow or difficult to manage, it created friction for both the firm and the client.
FuseSign was shaped around that reality. The goal was simple: help accounting and bookkeeping firms make signing easier to manage, easier to track and easier for clients to complete.
What began with two founders and a practical accounting workflow problem has grown into a much larger team and product. Over the past six years, FuseSign has expanded into New Zealand and the UK, moved through two office upsizings, welcomed 30 new team members, and is now helping over 2,300 accounting firms simplify signing at scale.
“When we launched FuseSign six years ago, we saw an opportunity to solve a clunky signing process that many accounting firms faced. Since then, the growth has been incredible, with thousands of firms embracing FuseSign as a faster, simpler, and more secure way to engage with their clients. While the platform has evolved significantly over that time, our focus has never changed: helping accounting firms save time, reduce friction, and deliver a better client experience. That’s the mission that continues to drive every innovation we make and will continue to shape the future of FuseSign,” said FuseSign Founder Melissa Voss.
Six years on, FuseSign remains focused on helping accounting firms make signing simpler. As more firms modernise their client experience and practice operations, FuseSign continues to support accounting and bookkeeping teams with software designed around the way they work.
