Today, we opened a SIV poll of the Zcash Community Advisory Panel (ZCAP), which will run until Monday, June 29th, 20:00 UTC. The purpose of this poll is to fill two seats on the Zcash Community Grants committee (ZCG).
Elections to the Zcash Community Grants Committee
Members of the Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) committee are elected by the Zcash Community Advisory Panel and serve a one-year term. Two of the current members’ terms are expiring at the end of June: Decentralistdan and GGuy. Last month, FPF invited candidates to express their interest in serving on the committee.
Fourteen candidates are standing for election. Here is the list of candidates, with links to their candidacy announcements on the Zcash Community Forum:
Candidates were invited to post a video or text response addressing the most upvoted questions, available in this thread.
As with previous polls, this election will be decided by approval voting. The two candidates with the most approval votes will become the new ZCG committee members on July 1st.
ZCAP members should check their mailbox for instructions on how to vote from [email protected]. In the past, SIV emails have sometimes been flagged as spam, so if you can’t find the instructions please check your Spam folder.
